Gmail’s advanced search feature is extremely powerful. I usually use this for for searching for emails from recipients or with certain labels.
Today, Gmail rolled out a new feature on searching through your emails. This feature allows you to search for attachments of a particular size and from a particular period.
This means, for example, to find emails larger than 5MB, you can search for size:5m or larger:5m or to find emails sent over a year ago, older_than:1y.
Do you find the feature useful. For me searching for attachments would be much less used. But, I would most likely be using the older_than feature especially since I have emails going back since the early days of Gmail.
